Tank Terminal – Dock Structural Repair – Sewaren, NJ

Commerce Construction was contracted to perform critical repairs to the north dock structures at the tank terminal in Sewaren, NJ. To ensure that terminal operations were not interrupted, temporary breasting dolphins were installed, allowing ships to dock without impacting the ongoing work.

Our team successfully completed steel belly band encasements for the cellular structures and installed a new main dock fender system, along with associated fender systems for additional structures. Throughout the project, we meticulously coordinated with vessel operations to ensure seamless docking and undocking. As a green-banded contractor, we prioritized safety and environmental considerations, ensuring that all work was conducted with the utmost care and adherence to safety protocols.
